Mark Sampson is a Managing Partner at Endeavor Technology Group, where he leads the firm’s West Coast presence and co-directs its investment strategy, capital formation, and platform development activities. He brings more than three decades of leadership experience across private equity, credit markets, and investment banking, with a career defined by building investment platforms and deploying capital into mission-critical businesses.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Sampson has been involved in more than $3 billion of financings and investments across a diverse range of public and private companies. He has held senior leadership roles across multiple successful private equity firms, including serving as a co-founder of several investment platforms, most notably Vintage Capital Partners and Pacific Growth Investors. Across these platforms, he has led all aspects of the investment lifecycle—from origination and structuring to governance and value creation—while co-managing firmwide investment activities and chairing investment committees. His experience reflects a consistent focus on disciplined capital deployment and long-term value creation in complex, operationally intensive businesses, including those supporting aerospace, defense, and other critical sectors.

Mr. Sampson began his career in credit markets, where he focused on sourcing, structuring, and managing senior debt financings for middle-market companies. Following business school, he joined Credit Suisse in Los Angeles and later Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, where he managed the firm’s West Coast credit product portfolio and was a member of the corporate investment banking healthcare group. This foundation in credit and capital markets continues to inform his approach to structuring investments and managing risk across complex capital stacks.

Mr. Sampson holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
